hiya secret santa fam, this is just a friendly check-in from your mods. tomorrow we will be sending msgs to those people who haven't yet posted their gifts, just to see where you're at. while we understand that the holiday period can be busy and things can unexpectedly crop up, leaving your giftee high and dry is not in the holiday spirit -- especially when you have received a gift!

Well, I imagine, if I was Odette, I would avoid by all means to be in a place where all my past as a dancer chases me and brings back painful memories. Also, Odette would try to avoid meeting with certain professor with who she ruined a genuine relationship.

I bet she didn't have any other choice as both Vacourbeil and Mérante insisted her to accept the job and she needed money to sustain her needs (maybe even the salary she received from Régine was so little...)

Hello! This is a handful, but I have three questions. (It's my first time participating in a Big Bang). My first question for you is: If I wanted to join as a beta-reader, when filling out the submission form, how would we answer the questions that creators would answer? My second group of questions are: If I were to join as a beta- reader, who would I beta- read for? Would I read for multiple people, and how would I be able to beta- read for them? -- Basically, how does the beta- reading work?

no worries - they’re great questions. 

just answer the questions as best u can. i know they’re designed with writers in mind, but u can always give us mods a better idea of ur preferences and boundaries u want to set

at the same time that artists pick 3-5 fics they’d like as potential pairs, beta readers would also pick out the stories they would like to beta for. u can pick just 1 story, or multiple. one of the questions writers will answer is if they’re looking for beta reading, and what kind as well. currently we only have 3 people signed up for beta reading, so i’d love to see more signups for that area especially!
