I'm clownskeepsake, or zipper
I'm a 17 year old Scottish comic artist and fanartist. I've been in the process of producing a portfolio to hopefully be accepted into an art course in college.
My 'main' account is @warwearyvillein where I don't really post much but I reblog A LOT.
I enjoy starkid musicals, and on the 29th of December 2024 acquired an intense interest in homestuck.

Its likely that ill hate the next academic year, my first (and hopefully only) year of college, as its not anything near what I wanted (i wanted just art, but have been shafted into art, photography, and videography) But I have 7 months to make a personal portfolio thats good enough for university. I need to try harder.

Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.
I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.
Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.
