The opposite of a Bard of Rage is a Maid of Hope.
Bards are often seen as the session's wildcards. They live in a situation where they can be pretty loose cannons. Often, they tend to swing on a pendulum between giving the most benefit and giving the most harm, mostly not of their own choice. They struggle with controlling their aspect or what it does, and might rely on other things to get away from it.
For a Bard of Rage, they destroy rage in others or destroy through Rage. Essentially, this means that they are an enabler at heart, and don't necessarily ask their friends to stop when they might be doing something stupid. They might be along for the ride just for the hell of it.
The Bard of Rage is someone who is protective at heart. Rage players tend to be protective of those they care a lot about, and a Bard of Rage is no different. If something happens, their ability to destroy with Rage could send others into a frenzy, and might cause actual chaos and havoc if they get pissed off enough.
Rage is often an aspect about literal negativity, or otherwise limited options. It takes narrow paths, and forces its users down narrow ways of thinking. A Bard of Rage might succumb to this one day, but I generally believe that they majorly stand against this.
A Bard of Rage tries to destroy their fear. While they might appear as completely different, inside, they are afraid. A lot of this fear is of the unknown, and a lot of it might come from their upbringing. Another characteristic of Rage is fear, and how it affects the Rage player.
They are heavily influenced by the world around them, and the wrong environment is sure to spell out complete and utter disaster if it's taken the wrong way. As, Bards usually have some of the most sway in a session.
