Are You Being Abused?

Ladies and gents, if your S/O calls you vulgar names when you fight, you're being abused. If they smack or shove you, you're being abused. If they try isolate you from your friends and social gatherings, you're being manipulated and controlled, which is also abuse. If they attempt to make you feel stupid about your dreams/hobbies, you guessed it, you're being abused. If you have to ask yourself "Am I being abused?", you're probably being abused. No matter who you are, nobody deserves this. It's not normal, it's unacceptable, and the longer you let them get away with it, the more power they'll gain over you. So run, seek help from the people who love you, whatever you need to do to get away, but just understand that laying down and accepting it, isn't your only option.
