Alone

Sometimes you feel more than loneliness. You feel alone. You can be surrounded by people but still feel it. That emptiness, that silence, that slowly begins to consume you. Being seen shouldn't have to be this hard. Being heard should not feel so labored. We're together when we have to be but when we have the opportunity to choose togetherness, you don't.

Am I that easily forgotten? When we leave the walls we once shared does the memory of my existence fade? Is it slow? Is it rapid? Is it instantaneous?

You know, I'm starting to feel alone even when we're together.

Wishing all the awesome bosses out there a very merry #BossesDay ! As I shopped frantically for boss' day this morning I realized that I have a lot of bosses. But luckily for me they're all awesome!

At the #MrsDoubtfire house paying respects to Robin. Stepping up the corner just unleashed a flood of sadness that rushed over me. Oh captain my captain you are truly missed. I know you have peace now and we will soon find ours. But now we mourn. We grieve. As a nation as a world as humanity.
