in honor of my boyfriend finally coming to poland in 6 days after 5 years without seeing each other, i just wanna say that yesterday i had a very bad day (forcibly moved back in with my parents for a month, super stressful time in my life) and i had a mini meltdown about baby slimes in minecraft despawning, and when we played again in the evening after i calmed down enough, i logged in to see he brought 4 baby slimes to our base all on his own for me. #goals

hey, i've been quiet lately because #universitystuff got me a bit fucked up but here's a mini update to all of you fellow danmei fans:

• my dissertation is only 20 pages long (out of at least 40), but i still have a bit over a week deadline-wise and i'm enjoying myself greatly. it is about comparisons between the portrayal of yaoguai and ethnic minories in China, so a pretty interesting and relevant topic

• i've had a lecture about chinese mythology at a con and it went GREAT!!! despite some technical difficulties in the beginning, def my favorite one i've conducted so far

• my boyfriend (THE best cui buqu artist who has never even read the books) is visiting me in august after years of long distance #YAY

ALL IN ALL. planning to come back full force in july, both with art (considering my future art school plans ... never too late for that) and headcanons/fics/opinions.... thought I'd give an update to my lovely mutuals whom I miss very much
