GRIMES RELEASED FULL LENGTH ALBUM, ART ANGELS

The moment a lot of you have been waiting for has finally arrived. Grimes released her highly anticipated full length album, Art Angels. Along with her music video for her songs, “Flesh Without Blood/Life In The Vivid Dream”; the Canadian artist released some insane artwork for each of her 14 tracks listed on the album. Michigan based artist and music producer, Shigeto released his new six track EP, Intermission. If Shigeto is a new name for you, the genre defying artist is definitely someone you should look up. Gearing up for Grimes’ new album, Art Angels the Canadian music producer released a music video for her new singles, “Flesh Without Blood” & “Life in the Vivid Dream”. The seven minute long video shows Grimes living in a fantasy mansion filled with bright colors and insane costumes backed with her rock pop vocals. One of my favorite artist, Parra released a grip of new apparel designs this season. The Dutch artist titled his new collection, “Holiday Drama” which depicts the heated tension people tend to have around the holidays. A-TRAK “WE ALL FALL DOWN” (JARREAU VANDAL REMIX)

Soulection’s own Jarreau Vandal released a stunning remix of DJ A-Trak’s new single, “We All Fall Down”. The dreamy track features vocals from Jamie Lidell, airy synths, and a bouncy beat you can’t help but love. A-Trak released a bundle of remixes of, “We All Fall Down” from: Volt & State, CID, and Jamie Lidell. You can listen to them all here. The original song from A-Trak has already hit over 4 million listens on spotify! It could very well be A-Trak’s fastest populating song of his career. Not one to be missed.

Dev Hynes, also known as Blood Orange is back with a new single & video titled, “Sandra’s Smile”. Released on Domino Records, the twinkling track sounds like a throwback tune similar to M.J. (r.i.p.) or Prince. “Sandra’s Smile” is currently a chart topper and is rated “best new track” on Pitchfork. In addition to his new single, be on the look out for a collaboration from Blood Orange and Ariel Pink which will be released this black Friday.

Rootnote Collective, one of the newer music collectives that’s emerged, released their fifth installment of their Rooted Artist Series. This release features the works of California resident, Cxrtoon (Curtis Swain). The four track EP, bangs bass filled beats that reminisce the early sounds of Flying Lotus.
