Been thinking about hosting a magma but then I'd be too nervous and shy about asking people if they'd wanna join.

Recently I got into the NiGHTS game series, and I absolutely loved it. The music, the worldbuilding, the characters, and the world designs are all incredible. I'm genuinely amazed by it. That gave me an idea to do something interesting. Maybe I should start writing a small story set in the world of Nightopia? As I learned more about the series, a lot of thoughts came to mind. For example: what do the gems worn by NiGHTS, Owl, and the other inhabitants of the dream world actually mean? There are many questions like that, and I've come up with some pretty good and rather beautiful answers to them. I think I'll attach a small sketch below that I made during a burst of inspiration for this story. I suppose it'll be a written fanfic with a few pieces of artwork mixed in—I have no idea how it'll turn out lol.

This story will focus a bit more on the characters' psychology, as well as the past of NiGHTS and Reala. It would also be fun to expand the lore a little, think more about the Nightopians and their creator. Maybe it's worth giving my own interpretation of some of the cut content. I also think it would be interesting to explore a scenario where someone reached one of Reala's visitors before NiGHTS did, and see what would happen as a result.

I really like this idea, and I think there will be something like a first chapter in the near future. After that, we'll see where it goes.

I haven't had the time to turn these into digital art yet. Hopefully, I'll finish them soon and share the full versions, but for now, take a look at this sketch!​
