Aranea rolled her eyes, and folded her arms. She had enough attitude from Meenah as it was, let alone Vriska as well.
“Yes, yes, I’m well aware of how 8ad that fish pun is. 8ut if you had your closest friend as a Peixes - and frankly I’m sure you pro8a8ly didn’t, given our universes seem very opposite, you’d 8e exactly the same, I assure you.”
Aranea listened to the last two names intently that came out of Vriska’s mouth - Megido, Ampora - oh god. Surely not those two.
It’s times like this that Aranea wishes she could forget the majority of her ‘friendship’ group back home.
“Ah, we had a Megido. And an Ampora. 8oth somewhat terrifying in their own ways, although Damara -” Aranea paused. “Er, sorry, I mean ‘Megido’, was actually scary. Cronus was just hideously desper8 and that alone was scary in its own right.”
She thought back to Damara’s overt sexual nature and Cronus’s total inability to be anything other than an idiot, and she grit her teeth.
“So what were they like for you? Completely the opposite, I’d imagine.”
Aranea had a point there. Vriska had never been significantly close to Feferi during the time she's known her - she did think she was pretty cool sometimes, though, and that's saying a lot.
"I dunno, seems like a pretty weird habit to me!" She left it at that.
She watched, amused, as annoyance surfaced on Aranea's face. Guess her Ampora and Megido were a handful. Listening to her descriptions, she couldn't help but smirk at the uncanny resemblance between Cronus and Eridan's personalities - both were pretty damn desperate, and apparently made little effort hiding it!
Aradia, however, wasn't all that scary. Unless terrifyingly happy counted.
"Actually, you aren't TOO far off-base," Vriska answered, "but man, this is weird. Some of them are the complete opposite! Next thing you're gonna tell me is your Makara pets kittens and does things that aren't totally horrifying."
