🐚Cockles HQ is a small and friendly Discord server where we chat about anything to do with Jensen and Misha.

🧑🏾‍🤝‍🧑🏽This server is most definitely not for people who are just looking for the latest goss. It’s a place where Cockles is what brings us together, but where community is the main focus.

💙💚Although most members ship Cockles as a romantic pairing, it’s certainly not a requirement. Of course it is a requirement that you like both Jensen and Misha. Most members are also Hellers.

🏳️‍🌈We are poly- and LGBTQ+ friendly.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦We respect Jensen’s and Misha’s relationships with other people. 

📜We have rules regarding the privacy of- and respect towards our members and the actors and we take these very seriously. 

🔞Only for 18+. The entire server is considered NSFW. (Yet we still open the server at work sometimes only to regret it seconds later. One day we’ll learn..)

🫂We believe that in safe spaces, it should be allowed to openly express opinions and vent. That in a truly safe space we learn to live with each other instead of enforcing unfair or toxic positivity/negativity or push for fake kindness. We’d rather strive for honesty, fairness and tolerance. However, we also believe a safe space provides other members a chance to avoid negativity if they wish to do so. We have special salt channels and rules for venting. Please keep this in mind!

I can't believe it. FOUR YEARS already! Time flies by when you're having fun! And fun we have. My god, we have shared so much laughter together. (and tears, let's be honest) You know what I love most? The way we have grown. Not in numbers, but in friendship. A while back a lot was happening in this fandom. Fans were going at each other, pitchforks got a permanent spot by the door, everyone was being canceled and nobody could agree on anything. And I am not too proud to admit that in our little server, things had gotten pretty tense too. We made good choices and bad choices, had to say goodbye to people we considered friends, celebrated victories, mourned losses, had to pull up our pants and work on our mistakes, but also supported each other in those endeavors. And we made it. We're still here! All because of you amazing people who carry the server on your backs through tough and lighthearted conversations, by cheering each other on, calling each other out on bs, filthy jokes, endless patience, kindness and a little bit of chaos. You are my home. And of course special thanks to the mods. You put so much work into the server and make sure the place stays safe and warm. You are truly amazing! Happy Anniversary HQ friends. I love you.

Suptober 2024 - Remixed!

Suptober is a fandom creativity challenge every October. hosted by the wonderfully talented and super amazingly nice @winchester-reload! This year, she has been unable to host it [read her post here!]

But, like a swallow to Capistrano, my art-brain wants an art challenge in October and I love this one a lot. My friend @thepagemistress and I looked at Jackie’s older lists, pulled some prompts we liked, as well as added our own!

We made this list to use this October but we also wanted to share it with the fandom in case y’all still want to do Suptober as well! Jackie isn’t hosting it, and I lack the resources at this time to properly host it —

BUT - I personally still intend on using #suptober24 for my creations, and I encourage anyone who may use this list to also use that hashtag and so we can all engage with our stuff!

I was not at the panel today but came across an audio recording from the panel. Here is the transcript from that question. I wanted to be as true as possible to what I heard so I included Jensen’s stutters, only cutting out when he says “um” as a filler. I also put italics around words he sounds like he is very carefully choosing and/or emphasizing. Also, quotes around “resolution” when it sounds like he’s doing that thing where you repeat the question in your answer.

Q: How do you see Cas’s return to Supernatural and how would you like Cas’s confession to be resolved?

J: Confession to be resolved. Ok, starting out with a banger. I - I don’t - I don’t necessarily know Cas’s confession needs to be “resolved” cause I don’t think there’s anything to necessarily “resolve” about it. I think he gave - he gave a confess- or he gave his - his testament and his - his speech to Dean at the end there, which was I think a long time coming. And - and it was beautiful and it was heartfelt and it was true and it was raw and it was real. And so I- I- I- I don’t- I don’t necessarily think that there needs to be some “resolution” to- to that. I think- I think Dean took that in, I think he lost one of his closest allies, one of his best friends in that moment. And he understands that- that Cas loved him. And, that’s something that Dean will- if- if- the opportunity comes back for that reunion it’s one of those like, it doesn’t need to be said it doesn’t need to be talked about it’s an unsaid, under- you know. (Stutters) it’s- it’s an- well, it’s not a subtext. It was clear text! (Audience claps) and the- the accepting of that happened in that moment when Cas was- was taken away and Dean was sitting there on the floor and realized that he- he had- had not only lost a- a- a brother in arms but had also lost one of his closest- the closest people to him. And- and I- you know I’ve said that when you find your people it doesn’t matter who or what or where or why or when they are, you find your people. And they found each other and I think that that’s- that’s always gonna be there whenever- whenever they do end up coming back or whenever they do have a reunion, it’s just understood.

Nah. Misha doesn't get shirts for his birthday. He gets shirts on any regular Monday. Unless Misha wakes up and has nothing to wear. Then he just takes a shirt.
