NOTHING is wrong with her. I personally have more guy friends than girl friends too and that doesn’t make me or her a bad person. I will always support girls and femme-identifying people as I understand the hardships of being a girl in a misogynistic world. I support women in their choice to have an abortion or to have a baby, their choice to have sex with 100 people, 1 person, or not at all, their choice to be a stay at home mom or to work full time, their choice to use alcohol and drugs or not, etc. But I have had many experiences where other girls have shamed me for my choices. It hurts when males are sexist towards me or mean to me, but sometimes even more so when women do the same. In elementary school, it hurt me when boys called me a “baby” because of my size, but it hurt me more when my girl scout troop went out without me. In high school, it hurt me when boys whispered “slut” as they passed me in the hall, but it hurt more when my entire group of “girl friends” told me they didn’t want to be my friend anymore because I was a “slut” and a “pothead” now with too many “issues” (those being anxiety and depression that I still live with today). There are girls who are mean and there are boys who are mean and there are people of other genders who are mean too. Sometimes it hurts the most coming from other girls, though, because they are the ones who are supposed to understand what you’re going through when faced w/ misogyny. Today, I have a small group of girl friends but my group of guy friends is much larger. I give everyone a chance to be my friend regardless of gender and it doesn’t make me a misogynist because I have met more males than females that I get along with. Also, telling my best friend that there’s something “wrong” with her is you being a fucking hypocrite talking down on another girl. check urself.
