Okay. What’s gonna happen to this blog?
Well, it’s a bit complicated.
Let me start with this: I do not intent on deleting this blog - or at least, I am not throwing this idea, along with the story, away. The problem with this blog is that it’s kind of going in the wrong direction I wanted it to go. Actually, I originally had no real plan for how the story was going to run: I had the general idea of the story down, but for the details on how the story was to progress to there, I was at a lost. Also, due to failure based on my part, as well as trying to rush the intro, the first few posts were both uninteresting and lacked color. Sarah’s character is not really developed, and I’ve been moving so slowly, I haven’t had the chance to introduce the next few characters.
I ran into many troubles, creating something without any idea of how it was going to go. Faced with all this, I decided to do something I should have done in the first place: write it all down. This meant the story, as well as character development stuff. In doing so, I wrote story that had very few similarities with the current one, which means everything I’ve made up until this point has to be scrapped :”(. I realized that, in it’s current state, fixing the blog and turning it the way I wanted to would be absolutely disastrous.
So I’ve decided I’m gonna put this blog on pause for a while. This way, I can work on the story for my other blog, @ask-a-pony-detective. In the meantime, I can also finalize the story and character designs for this blog. I’m just glad I actually have it written down now.
I may end up hosting the blog on a new account entirely, because having this as a side account is a little... inconvenient at times. I barely use my mod blog, and only use it to follow other accounts. I’ll probably end up creating a new blog altogether, or maybe I’ll continue using the side blog option. I’ll be honest, I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do about it.
Anyway, this won’t be a “goodbye” - just a “see you later”. If you would like to follow the story on my other blog, be sure to check it out ;). I have another story planned after that, which (would seem) to be much longer, and much more interesting. Hope to see you all soon!
