The Blood of Deities Flows in our Veins
crossingredqueensrealm:
“SAYA-SAN!”
Rei continuously tries to call out to the young woman who seems to be struck by fear. Just before she could take her hand and lead her out of harm’s way. The crowd who are overwhelmed by panic and fear. Crams into every exit that was available. With all the pushing and shoving, the crowd pushes the Miko out the door. Separating the two young woman before she could get hold of Saya. “Dammit!” A rare occurrence for the Miko to curse. But anyone would too under the circumstances. Without letting concern overwhelm her. She was worry about the girl safety. Unsure if she has made it out safely or trap with the monster in that room. Yet, there was a silver lining behind all of it. It meant the Miko could leave to transform into Sailor Mars.
“MARS PLANET POWER! MAKEUP!”
Transforming into her Sailor Senshi form. She quickly found another way into the room and was relieved to find Sailor Venus on the scene. But horrified to find Saya on the ground and gravely wounded. ‘SAYA!?’ Before the Senshi could afford to take a moment to think. The monster makes its moves and attempted to attack Sailor Venus. Alerting her comrade of her present. “VENUS!” She stood behind the monster before pulling out her ofuda.
“Akuryo Taisan!”
Summoning her attack. It restricted the enemy movement but not for long.
Saya was surprised that Sailor Venus appeared out of nowhere then she smelled a familiar scent. Rei? Why did she come here?
Saya moved to see that it was Sailor Mars who had Rei’s scent. So that was why she thought Rei looked familiar, she was the famous Sailor Senshi, Sailor Mars!
It looked like the ofuda disappeared in the ring of fire but the ofuda magically reappeared, unscathed by the flames which pushed it onto the Chiropteran’s forehead then evaporated.
The Chiropteran stopped moving for a few minutes then it roared and the ofuda slipped from its head, void of any spiritual power. Saya’s blood had given the Chiropteran more strength.
The cut on her face had vanished but her left arm was slowly healing. The Chiropteran roared and began moving again.
Saya yelled “Watch out, that Chiropteran’s still after blood!”
@codenameminako
Despite the strange monster starting to charge up, Sailor Venus know she couldn’t just jump away. If she moved, the woman behind her would be in danger. She grit her teeth and shifted her legs so that she could better brace herself against an attack.
Thankfully, she wasn’t alone. Her eyes lit up at the sight of Sailor Mars behind the demon as she threw her attack at the monster. It seemed stunned for the moment and Venus took the opportunity to kneel down next to Saya.
“Come on, we need to get you out of here,” she said quietly, reaching her hand out to offer help up.
The shouted warning and the roar of the monster, though, made her look back over her shoulder to see the monster was charging up with its loud roars.
“Come on, come on, we have to go!” she hissed, reaching out to pull Saya toward her.

Temporary Hiatus + Rework
Hello friends <3
I know I haven’t been very active lately, and I feel simply awful about it. Between work and my pathetic attempts to keep my other blogs active, I’ve ended up neglecting Minako a lot.
This is why I’ve decided to officially put her on a temporary hiatus while I prepare a new, reworked blog for her. I’ve learned a lot over the past few months about Tumblr role play and I’ve already implemented some changes to my other blogs to match my personal preference and style. I want to do the same for Minako, as well as I want to get a fresh start for her.
Currently, I know I’m involved in a few group threads, so I will continue to reply in those in the meantime since that is a commitment I made. Otherwise, I will be dropping most my threads and starting new and fresh once I have her rework blog ready.
In the meantime, if you’d like to keep in touch ooc, you can find me on Dis.cor.d at Misaki#0394.
Dash Cleanup and Update
[Hello friends! It’s been a hell of a long week, and I’m certainly glad to see the weekend upon me! <3
Today, I’m going through a quick dash cleanup since I’m only really able to devote time once a week to catching up on my dash. But the good news about this is Minako’s blog is NOT private. This means, I will happily accept meme/prompt requests from and role play with non-mutuals (and will usually become a mutual with you if I’m not already if we rp enough).
Please do not feel offended if I unfollow(ed) you! It’s simply so I can catch up on my dash a little quicker and reduce some clutter.
As always, if I’ve missed a response, PLEASE send me an Ask off-anon and let me know so I can correct it. <3 I will NEVER get mad at someone who reminds me I forgot to reply in our threads. I’m doing my very best to make sure I keep an eye out for my tag and anytime I’m mentioned, but sometimes things slip through the cracks.
That being said, I’m going to get to some replies and get my queue filled for next week~ <3]
"I'm sorry, have we met?" Saito wasn't in the habit of approaching strange women in public, although this one in particular looked like the goddess in his dreams, from her big beautiful blue eyes, down to the vibrant red bow. All she was missing was a mouthy white cat by her side. "Have you ever been to the Parfait Boutique? I make perfumes there."
Bright blue eyes gazed longingly through the window of the jewelry store at a beautiful sapphire necklace that had been on display for a few weeks now. Minako had honestly been surprised that it hadn’t been sold yet considering its beauty.
The sound of a voice made her look up, blinking at the tall man standing next to her. She hadn’t even noticed someone had approached her until they’d spoken up. The shock of silver hair keyed her into her memory and she smiled brightly.
“Yeah! I think I met you last week at that perfume party!”
He was staring, not that he meant to. He had stayed at Usagi's engagement party far longer than he intended, and only to nurse far too many drinks in the corner. Now, to his horror, Minako seemed to have noticed, and worse, she was approaching. Too much liquor rooted his limbs to the spot, and he swallowed thickly. "Uh. Hello," he attempted, silvery eyes darting over to the exit. It could not seem farther at the moment. "Hi."
Minako gave the bun-haired girl one last congratulatory hug, squeezing her tight with one arm while the other held a champagne glass. Who knew how many glasses she’d had before that one, but it was evident it had been quite a few as the woman stood on shaky legs as she stepped back from her friend as others came to talk to Usagi.
Minako had felt eyes on her nearly all night, and this moment was no exception. Bright blue eyes flitted over to the silver haired man as he watched her from across the room.
She approached with a smile. “Like what you’ve been seeing?” she teased.
crossingredqueensrealm:
“You would? Thanks.” Saya’s voice was somewhat garbled from eating.
“No, I’m not hurt. You see, I’m anemic. So I take blood transfusions after lunch.”
Saya hurried to eat the last of her food. She couldn’t keep Minako waiting after all. She put away the disposable chopsticks and bento box in her bag.
“Alright, I’m ready Aino-san.” she announced after wearing her bag and standing up, unaware that pieces of rice were still left on her face.
Watching the way Saya enjoyed her food almost made the blonde jealous. She hadn’t eaten anything since lunch herself, and volleyball practice had been a tough one... She could only barely resist the urge to drool even as Saya packed up the lunch.
At the explanation of her anemia, Minako felt her cheeks warm up.
“A-ah, wow,” was all she could think to say as she stood to join the other girl. “That sounds like it would hurt.”
Before they started walking, Minako noted the rice. She shifted her volleyball onto one arm while the other one pointed to Saya’s face.
“Ah, you have just a few pieces of... Here, let me help.” She reached out to brush the rice off.
sunnysmiles2:
Megan nodded. “Rabbits are so cute and fluffy.” She confirmed.
“Wow, your horse is beautiful, Minako-san.” She complimented.
She chose a brush and started to brush her rabbit’s fur gently.
Minako giggled. “My best friend’s favorite animal is a rabbit. And she’s a little bit like a rabbit herself.” She smiled to herself, thinking fondly of her princess, befoe turning her attention back to the game.
She gave a small grin. “I always wanted a horse when I was little. I know it’s totally impossible in the city these days, but it was always a dream of mine someday.”
She chose a bale of hay to feed her horse.
The Blood of Deities Flows in our Veins
“Saya-san, I’m glad you enjoy it.” But as she saw the expression on Saya face. Rei felt a little guilty. Did she strike a nerve? Mentally scolding herself. She was terrible at small talk. The Miko has only wish she had tagged Minako along with her. That girl can talk on for days without breaking a sweat. “Okinawa?! That’s a long way from home.”
The Miko stiffed when she sensed omen and danger. Turning behind her. A man was seen to be struggling and look under the weather. Pale like a white sheet of paper. Causing the people around him to be concern about his physical health. Gripping tightly to the rails. The Miko’s heart pounds harder and harder as seconds goes by until the calamity strikes. Similar to her first encounter with the monster involving the 5 Witches. Peeling off from the human flesh like a butterfly appear from its cocoon, a monster appears.
Screams, panic, and terror fill the platform. Rei manages to quickly send a distress signal towards the other Senshi for help. With Saya by her side, she can’t transform or risk revealing her identity as Sailor Mars. “Saya-san, it is dangerous here. We need to leave quickly!”
It wasn’t really Rei’s fault that Saya made that expression. She just felt a little uncomfortable and didn’t really want to divulge about why she was traveling at a young age on her own.
“Yeah, but even so, I wanted to see Tokyo. It’s well-known after all.”
Saya also turned to look behind her and saw a man turning into a Chiropteran.
Why, why was this happening? Diva is dead and the Red Shield said that the Chiropteran incidents had completely decreased during the 4 years of her sleep.
If Rei didn’t call out to her, she would’ve stayed frozen. She ran but purposely lagged behind the crowd, she had to do something. Only she knew how to deal with that thing.
As she expected, the Chiropteran was drawn to her scent and lured it to a lower level of Tokyo Tower where no one else was around. If only she had a katana!
Her anger made her eyes glow red and caused the teeth at the ends of her upper jaw to sharpen into fangs.
“Haah!” she yelled as she jumped towards the Chiropteran’s mouth and purposely pushed her arm into its mouth. But instead of crystallizing, it continues to feed from her arm! How was she going to make him let go of her?!
As she screams in agony, she thought to herself; if only she had more power…More power! And as soon as she wished that, her nails sharpened into claws!
She scratched it in the eye and it threw her against a glass window. Not only was her left arm filled with gashes but her cheek got cut from the glass.
A new scent wafted in her nose, this was bad. She could only hope whoever came didn’t see her try to fight that thing. Her eyes dimmed back into reddish-brown and her inhuman features vanished and she weakly turned to see who it was that came.

A quick trip to the mall was all Minako had planned for that afternoon. She’d been making more frequent trips lately simply to walk past the perfume store. Part of it was to smell the beautiful aroma, but a larger part of it was to glance in and see if a particular cute salesman was there.
Unfortunately, she wouldn’t make it all the way to the mall today. During her walk, the sound of screams caught her attention and she noticed crowds of people running from Tokyo Tower. Minako could sense the dark entity.
Quickly ducking into an alley, the girl threw her hand up.
“Venus Planet Power, Make UP!”
Sailor Venus dashed out before jumping up onto a lamp post. She hopped from light to light, quick on her feet, above the heads of the screaming crowd as she rushed in the direction they were running from.
She spotted the monster just as it threw someone against a glass panel. She jumped down and quickly put herself between the monster in front of her and the civilian behind her.
“Not so fast!” She struck her pose. “Sailor Venus is on scene!”
featherchan:
Rei stiffed when Minako spoke about her cold hands. Clasping both hands to her chest. The Miko mentally scolded herself for being careless. She didn’t want Minako to know or be concern about it. Not especially when they knew nothing about their enemy or what they did to her. Her divination was coming up empty and the pain in her chest. Every time she tries to feel or show affection. It hurts so much. The Miko was scared. So scared. Yet, she didn’t want to share the fear and burden with her loved ones.
Feeling Minako hands on her shoulder. Giving a comforting squeeze. She just turns around and plasters a smile on her face, yet again. “I’m fine. The weather has gotta cold lately and I might be catching one myself…” She lies. Praying Minako would buy it. “Don’t worry. I’ll be fine in the morning. You see…” Her face stiffed as her chest hurts again as she attempts to show the slightest affection. “Promise me. That you will call your mom, okay?” She quickly turns away and leaves the room. Feeling guilty for lying Minako to her face.
Minako could do little more than watch her friend’s back as she hurried off to make for the landline. Her fingers gently gripped Rei’s cellphone in her hands, feeling the way her own hands shook.
Rei’s hands had felt like ice, completely void of warmth. It wasn’t like the soldier of flame and passion to be so cold like that. She was starting to wonder if something had happened when that demon had hit her with its attack. Venus had only seen the tail end of it as Mars was falling to the ground, but she thought she could recall some sort of energy beam or bright light hitting Mars’s chest before it disappeared.
She shook her head. She had at least the night to observe her friend. She wondered maybe it she should try calling the others while she had the opportunity, but she waited on it. No use in making Rei any angrier than she’d already been.
She made the call to her mother quickly, wincing at how the woman barked in her ear through the phone. Still, there was little the older woman could do with Minako already at Rei’s, so the call ended quickly and she whined as she turned into the hallway, heading out for the main room she knew Rei would be in.
“Man, every conversation with her these days is some fight,” she said as she turned into the room.
