Больше всего я сейчас мечтаю о борще, о маминых блинах и котлетках, и о хачапури ❤️ Китайцы очень странные люди. Если китаец знает английский, то он не будет разговаривать с тобой по-китайски, и получается классный диалог: ты принципиально с ним на китайском, а он все равно тебе отвечает на английском. Еще меня мучает вопрос: почему в таком современном мегаполисе, даже в очень приличных заведениях, ресторанах, торговых центрах и в университете туалеты выглядят как дырка в полу?

The Path of Needles.

Second instalment of the Bitten triptych; a work that uses the ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ fable as a rough framework to explore werewolfism as a metaphor for female puberty. Like the lupine transformation, adolescence leads to the development of androgenic hair and visible bodily change. Fertility is heralded by the menstrual cycle; whose pattern is traditionally linked with the phases of the moon. Of course, the latter is also associated with so-called ‘madness’ (anger and antisocial moods). The works investigate the development and maturation of young girls and raise questions of choice and consent, moratorium and foreclosure; but delve into the mind of the wolf as well as the ‘curse’ takes hold.

This book deals with the sexual aspects of growing up. The book opens from the middle and has a ‘girl side’ and a ‘wolf’ side.’ It is meant to look like the pages from the two sides have been removed and stitched together to create a new narrative. Needles were once seen as a sexual symbol (because they have an eye that can be threaded); and the book tries to reference some possible pathways that the girl could have taken with her sexuality — that is, being passive or proactive.

Have you ever felt that you had nothing to write about? That your head was completely empty? Then maybe this can help you to get started with your writing with a little exercise!!

Print the photos and pictures and graphics and drawings that you like the most, every single one. It can be anything: a photo you took yourself, some random fan art you saw out there, some pieces by famous painters, photo sets… It can be anything! The important thing is that when you see it you think “I like this shit”. Then print them out in a small size (Imprint 16 per page) as you find them and cut them out.

This way you can carry your favourite images with you anywhere you go and write when you feel like it but words seem to not want to get out of your head. If your writing notebook has a pocket like moleskins do, put your photos there. If it doesn’t, just stick an envelope to the inside of your notebook and carry them there!

Hope this helped some of you to get a bit of inspiration!! It certainly works for me!
