alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

Let's decide it once and for all, what is the greatest book by J.R.R. Tolkien?
The Bovadium Fragments
Songs for the Philologists
Farmer Giles of Ham
Tree and Leaf (the "Leaf by Niggle" story)
The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth Beorhthelm's Son
Speaking of great literary works by famous authors...
What is the greatest work written by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe?
Essay on Granite (1784)
About the premaxilla of humans and animals (1786)
The Metamorphosis of Plants (1790)
Contributions to Optics (1791)
The Theory of Colours (1810)
As many people have pointed out, I failed to include Tolkien's Roverandom in my previous poll, so this time I made sure to include all of Goethe's works of importance

it's midnight in germany, so i think now we can call the weekly challenge formally concluded. (i'm using this exact word deliberately, because it's not the end, never the end.)
this is a hug/handshake (to whoever feels comfortable with it) and huge thanks to all participants. we made a lot of great things - some funny, some serious, but equally beautiful. i can't describe how happy i am right now, honestly. i didn't even dare to dream that my 3 am idea might be supported by people whose art i admire (now i do even more!). we made things with love and about love, and this flow was absolutely precious.
@sir-looni @schillers-apfel @coffeees-art @liebendenachtigall once more, thank each and every one of you. i love every work you people made <3 you're all awesome
i'm hoping to bring some new ideas for you in july, so again, it's not a goodbye.
