I adored the one my grandmother kept in her house, she taught me to play one day after she caught me with it when I was supposed to be playing in the garden… Cello is wonderful, I’d love to be able to play that, though I do have my hands full with the piano

That sounds like a wonderful way to start playing. Well, people always say that it's one of the hardest instruments to master, so I'm not surprised it's a handful.

Thank you. -smiles a little and takes a sip of coffee- Yeah, piano. How about you?

It's such a lovely instrument, isn't it? I've always wanted to be able to play the piano. Oh, I take cello. 

[jesssowa]

-smiles- Please 

[cogsworth-corthorn]

*switches kettles and pours her some coffee* So you play piano?

[jesssowa]

If there’s anything I can do for you just let me know

I'll remember that. More coffee? *asks while pouring herself another cup of tea*

Oh. Well, everyone disagrees with their parents sometimes. I won't pry any more, since it's probably rude, but would a hug help?

I don’t always get along with my parents, but that’s not important

-takes a sip of coffee- Um, not overly close, but close enough that I can go home if I really need to -shrugs-

That must be nice. *sits on a stool, cupping the tea with both hands*

Ah, that’s not so bad then. It’s nice that you went home to help.

I do like going home. On the grand scale of things, my parents aren't too bad. *gets herself a cup of tea, quickly straining the teabag* Is your family nearby?

-goes over to pour some coffee- Well visiting home can either be good or bad, I won’t pry or anything if you don’t want to talk about it

Oh no, no, it wasn't anything serious. My parents just needed some help in their shop for a while because my little sister left for a boarding school on the other side of the country.

I’ve been here for a while, yeah. How about you?

Well, I was here for about six months, but then I had to go back home for a while, so I've only been here a few weeks now. *fills up a kettle and puts it on*
