“Yeah, I remember the drool that was spilling out of your mouth during Man of Steel, don’t remind me,” he rolled his eyes before he smiled as he teased her. It was easier to just make jokes when with her to stop himself from dwelling on the ache in his heart. “So I guess you are not willing to make exceptions for anyone?”

She moved a little closer to him and gave him a quick peck on his cheek. “Tipping is always necessary, so I do hope you accept this as a tip. As for a review on Twitter, those I quite rarely give out. You’ll really have to earn that one.”

“A guy can dream,” he said with a hopeless sigh before laughing. The kiss brought on a small but sincere smile. He knew it wasn’t good how much he still loved receiving those small acts of affection from her. How sometimes he craved it. “I feel like if bringing you your favorite food in the middle of the day doesn’t put me on the top, then this is going to tough.”

“I guess when your chances of running into Ryan Reynolds lessen on a production lot it does take away some of the excitement,” he nodded a small smile peaking out. “Tipping isn’t necessary but I would appreciate a nice review. You can just talk nicely about me on Twitter.”

Olivia: Sure, but it's not like it's anything I haven't seen before. I practically grew up with men who took a liking to hitting kids for fun. All I'm saying is, I could endure that part of the torture if the information was important enough. But again, pulling nails out of my fingers is where I draw a line.

Olivia: Fair. Though I don't feel like I have any information worth a torture session... Have any recommendations for scary movies?

Cohen: Shit yeah. Sometimes I forget what it was that you grew up around. Can't really imagine that. Now I'm curious just what you see as important information. You have more balls than me.

Cohen: No Hollywood deep dark secrets yet? Oh I have a lot. Just depends if you want a good one or a good bad one.

Cohen: Okay well I think you being the braver one between us isn't exactly shocking news here but you get a strong enough guy and a hit could do some damage.

Cohen: Was just watching a scary movie in honor of spooky season and you never know. It could happen.

text: Well I can never eat out in public ever again. Got up to go the bathroom didn't see the waiter carrying the drinks, hit him so that the tray fell and landed on my lap. That is bad enough right? Oh but it didn't end. The drinks were so cold that I jerked and hit my plate and the plate of pasta fell on me as well. Red stains everywhere. If they were going to fall couldn't it had been the food first so at least the drink could have washed it off?

text: I get why you feel that way but, Liv, there is nothing about what you are doing now that says you aren't going to get where you want to be. You chose a different path than some might have but it's going to be worth it. You're learning. You're going to have knowledge about the industry and how things work that people who just jump into auditioning aren't gonna know. You're making connections that they aren't going to have. You are gonna look back on this experience and realize that it was worth it. Cause I am telling you right now that it is going to be worth it. You are so talented. No bullshit. I have seen it and you're wicked smart and captivating. There is no one else in this world that I believe in more. And maybe you didn't believe me when I said that as your boyfriend but I'm your ex now so I don't have to say it but I am because I see it all for you. There was a sense of comfort whenever she spoke with Cohen, or was even near him. She’d missed that more than she had realized. “Now you’re just putting words in my mouth.” She joked.

These games had never been Cohen’s thing. He had forced himself tonight to try and get into the spirit of the evening. He wasn’t the guy who went out looking to make out with someone. He wanted to be the guy that had the same date every time that he was excited to start and end his nights with. Like with what he used to have with Olivia. “I think all that I did was read between the very distinct and clear lines with what you were saying. Which was obviously that I am the best kiss you ever had,” he teased, the cockiness nothing more than an act.
