althea-traversâ:
She couldnât remember the last time that she saw Alecto Carrow in such high spirits. It was odd. Strange. Althea wasnât quite sure what to make of it. Sheâd have to tread carefully if she wanted to make sense of it all. Althea let out a small chuckle. âI suppose you have a point. Itâs a shame we havenât spent more time together, all things considered. We really should change that.â She glanced over to the spot that Alecto gestured to, deciding it was fine, if not perfect. âIâll take your word for it. How was your summer, Alecto? How did you spend your time outside of school?â
âOh, wonderful.â Honeyed and plastic as most of her words were and had been since their conversation began, this she meant from the bottom of her heart - whatever hollow semblance of a heart resided within Alecto Carrow. The summer had been a transformative one for her and her brother both, but, naturally, she didnât intend to go into detail regarding their activities. âAmycus and I spent a great deal of time together, learning new things and expanding our horizons further than we ever thought possible. And yourself, Althea? I presume your family goes on holidays to faraway lands.â
