I am alive and have written something finally. Its been a rough couple of weeks over here. Decided to work on the Stratt Tapes for once
The video cut out shortly after that. The end of file screen appeared once more. The room Stratt was in fell back into darkness. It was late and the sun had set hours ago. She would turn in and start the next video file in the morning. She looked out the window at the stars and wondered if one of them was Grace on his way home. He was probably on his way but the Beatle had beaten him home. She would see him again. There were things she had only dreamed she would say to him if she had the chance to see him again. She had no idea what she would say to him when she saw him.

Twisting around in your spot at the foot of the bed, you found Eddie laying down on his back, his hands behind his head propped up by the pillows, just watching you with a soft blush on his face. "Gonna keep me waiting?" he prompted, raising one brow in a way that somehow managed to look both teasing and uncertain in equal measure.
You couldn't have that. In record time, you scrambled across the bed to reach him. Your knees found a home on either side of his hips as you leaned down and fervently pressed your lips to his. With one hand, you kept yourself propped up against his chest, feeling the warm thrum of his components inside whirring into overdrive with his growing excitement, fingers idly toying with the sparse hairs to be found there. Your other hand was busy cupping his neck, stroking along his jaw with your thumb as your lips continued to meet his, over and over. Releasing a shaky sigh into his mouth, you barely parted your lips so you could speak. "You know I can't keep anything from you," you whispered, unable to keep from dropping yet another kiss to the corner of his lips, "I'm yours."

In an instant, they stood between Mobius and the blade. A trickle of blood dripped from the sliver cut into their neck, where the swing of the weapon had just barely stopped in time.
Been in a writing slump for a while now, as I’m woefully obsessed with whatever Loki’s role in Doomsday is gonna be, and have little room in my brain for anything else. 🫣🫠
But I’m slowly getting back into it, and though it’s far from cerebral, I’m quite enjoying the silliness of this MTH fic I’m working on…
“Don’t panic, Loki,” Mobius took pity on him, patting his uninjured arm from where he sat at his side before Carlton’s desk. “It’s a surgical procedure. She’s not actually gonna grab a hold of your arm and snap it in half.” He hesitated all of a sudden, brow furrowing as he glanced at her. “Uh… are you.”
In a rare moment of expressing anything other than clinical indifference or weary resignation, the doctor snorted in something astonishingly close to amusement… and almost smiled, to boot.
Loki fancied he could practically hear her facial muscles creaking with the effort.
“As much as such a measure would provide yours truly a most unprofessional thrill,” she drawled, “Agent Mobius is correct. It’s surgery performed under anaesthesia, Mr Laufeyson. Nothing barbaric.”
“Says you,” Loki grumbled, not fancying the idea of surgery any more than having his arm violently maimed. “I’d rather take my chances in allowing an unreasonably volatile variant to pummel me with a blunt object once again, to be truthful.”

Why is it that every time I google something like "Are olives poisonous to cats" the top results are always like "Fun fact: Cats are carnivores! This means that they eat meat. There is no reason to include olives in a cat's diet. You should feed your cat cat food, which is dry or wet food especially designed for cats. You can purchase this at a store." like is there a single person alive on the planet who's googled "Are blueberry muffins safe for cats" because they're planning on switching their cat to a muffin-only diet??? I've been using the pet poison hotline's poison list cause it has a search function. It also tells you whether something is mildly, moderately, or severely toxic which can be very handy! It doesn't contain like everything but it might be a good place to start, it also includes plants for fellow houseplant lovers <3
