Shoutaâs eyelids diluted the sunlight, but its hazy glow disturbed his sleep, eventually stirring him. Sitting up, he let his sleeping bag pool around him. Did he fall asleep on campus again? Morning dew had settled over him in the grass amongst a grove of trees, but he could see the school beyond the thicket. Shaking droplet off himself, he unzipped the dirty yellow bedroll.
His mom was going to be pissed⊠but it wasnât like it was the first time he didnât go home at night. Stretching his arms over his head, he yawned. Hopefully, he had time to get to class before the bell.
Rolling up his sleeping bag, he pushed through the undergrowth with it under his arm. Leaves poked from thick knots of dark, oily hair. Dirt smudged his pale, youthful face, the faintest hint of stubble just starting to show on his chin.
As he headed through campus, looking like a lost homeless person, he barely looked at anyone. If he had, he certainly would have noticed that none of the other students looked familiar⊠Still in a sleepy haze, his shoulder struck another boyâs. âOh⊠my bad,â he mumbled. Finally, he met heterochromatic eyes.
âAre you newâŠ?â A messy brow rose above squinted, bloodshot eyes. He definitely would have remembered this guyâ the heterochromia and two-toned hair were striking.
Todoroki had been heading to class. Still feeling sore after the test Aizawa put them through the day before. Their teacher had been nothing but merciless and pushed them to the point of passing out in exhaustion. Shoto wasn't feeling as if he had done well. Still not being able to control his left side properly, he had barely managed a win.
While sinking to his own thoughts, wondering for today's hero training, he accidently brushed his shoulder with someone else's. Listening to the other teen, he turned to look at him, uncertain which of them was really at fault.
His eyes were opened wide when he stared at the other, only to see someone who looked exactly like his homeroom teacher but on a younger age. What had happened? What was going on? He couldn't help but stare at him confused. It wasn't possible. Was that the result of someone's Quirk?
âMr. Aizawa? What happened to you?â Didn't he recognize him? Asking if he was a new student? He shook his head at his question. âI'm a first year in hero course.â he replied. His first year. Taking a deep breath, he stared around to see if there was any teacher within his sight or even one of his classmates but he couldn't find anyone. He should inform someone immediately and not let the other leave. He returned his eyes on him, realizing that his glare was exactly the same as an adult.
âWhat do you remember?â
