He’d held on to Mirio’s hand almost the entire trip there. Part of it was because Mirio had told him not to let go and he took that to heart but also because it was grounding him while being surrounded by other people and also because it just felt nice. Mirio was also the one who had any idea where they were going too. It was his coworkers place after all but when Mirio brought up the idea during one of their lunches, he couldn’t say no. A weekend away from the city sounded nice. He would keep his phone on for emergencies of course but he wanted the few days away.
He doesn’t let go of his friends hand until they arrive at the house. It was pretty to look at from the outside, and it was so quaint on the inside. He steps away to drop his bag down and look around.
“Your co-worker owns this place?”
