Later that same night, Dean Ambrose did something even more shocking and turned on Seth Rollins after they won the tag team titles together, destroying The Shield once again in an emotional, explosive fashion. This is the aftermath that could've been. Or: The story of Seth trying to save Dean from himself. Only they save each other instead (when they're not destroying each other). i mean.... why would seth leave wwe for dean??

lmao i'm clearly joking when i talk about seth leaving wwe to follow mox. like, real life isn't fanfic.

seth loves wwe, we all know that. his wife is there, his friends are there, they treat him really well. they pay him well and treat him like a top guy. it obviously works for his lifestyle and allows him to do the things he wants to outside the company as well. why would he leave his dream job and financial stability? like it's a matter of common sense and safety and security, right? he has a kid. he owns several businesses. of course he wouldn't leave wwe.

even though he's expressed frustration about certain things over the years, he was always happier in wwe than mox was. seth's goal was always being in wwe. he loves performing at wrestlemania and being in the biggest company with the largest platform and everything that entails. i get all that. it's more the issue of his character's creative stagnation and wwe being morally questionable than it is about how seth's been personally treated as a performer. creative was obviously a big factor for mox leaving. seth seems more lenient when it comes to that. he's more willing to go along with what he's been given. which is not necessarily a bad thing. it's just different. and he has a relationship with triple h that mox didn't have. so it's two very different cases. seth as a human being obviously prioritises different things in his life than someone like me who is just a fan of his work will. if he's happy, good for him. it's just disappointing personally knowing he could be doing more interesting things elsewhere.

if seth ever leaves wwe it won't be 'for' anyone. it'll be because that's the best choice for him and his career.

oh and if you mean it in a kayfabe context then.... it makes no sense. seth being in wwe without dean, if these characters were totally divorced from real life circumstances, would not happen. unless he hates himself. which he does canonically tbf. but like knowing seth as a character and that dean is and always will be the heart of his character and the most important onscreen relationship in his life.... there would be zero reason to stay there. especially considering how bad seth's 2019 without him was. which makes it super easy to pretend that seth is not in wwe at all fortunately.
