On Mickey's birthday, I'm conducting another study, dissecting my love for him (for science, of course, why else?)
Everyone knows Mickey has an oral fixation (and I have a fixation on his oral fixation), so a lot of Mickey's iconic gestures involve his lips.
Licks lips and bites the corner of the lip:
Touches the corner of his mouth with his tongue:
Moving up Mickey's face, and there is Mickey's beautiful nose with quivering nostrils through which he loves to blow smoke:
Fan writers note that he often touches his nose, scratches it with his fingers:
Above are Mickey's most expressive eyebrows. Mickey also smoothes his eyebrows with his fingers:
Mickey speaks with his eyebrows. And if they shoot up to his hairline, it's not a good sign:
A killer combination: raised eyebrows + bitten lower lip. It means "challenge accepted, bitch" (graded by level of aggressiveness):
Mickey does many remarkable things with his hands (hehe), but there's one gesture without which Mickey wouldn't be himself. Used in a variety of meanings, from hate to love, it often emphasizes current emotions:
Bonus: "gesture imitating masturbation." I saw it once in Shameless and many times—it's described in fics. I don't know why fic writers like it so much, but here it is:
