DOCKING is an audio program designed for a walk to and from an abandoned dock on the outskirts of the Pines on Fire Island. The audio program was played on headphones by a group of listeners as they walked through nature.
DOCKING is about arrivals and departures: how we mediate our arrivals in relationships and experiences, and the ways in which we choose to leave things behind. Participants are encouraged to bring an object that represents something they want to leave behind in life, and a willingness to return as someone new. more info about the BOFFO Performance Festival HERE.
Filmed for aqnb and Video in Common by director of photography Daniel Rampulla and second camera Tyler Mariano for the Money Makes the World Go Round series,
The participants in the new Mike and Claire short answer some questions to clarify and complicate their performance/selves.
