Was gonna cross but weird guy with camera so... Ottawa / September 2020 I went out for a nice walk today through Westboro and Hintonburg along Richmond Road / Wellington Street West. On it, I shot my first roll of #streetcandyfilmatm400. I had been wanting to try it for a bit, so I processed the images when I got home. It's a stock with some character to it. It's said to be a high-contrast film, which it is, but it seems to me that it can hit the mids if you let it. With a lot of range in frame, though, it sure can eat the details. I'm kind of into it. If you're following me, you'll see more from this roll over the next bit, and I think I'm going to grab some more of it and shoot the next couple based on what I learned here, and how I ran the developer through this one. (My young children may have caused some distractions that made my agitations and time-keeping a little less than religious.) Mill of Kintail, Cross-Processed On Kodak Gold 200 film with a Canon T70 camera and processed with Ilford Ilfotec DD-X These images were shot in March of this year on Kodak Gold colour film. They have been sitting around exposed but undeveloped since, and so I decided to experiment with processing them using my black and white chemistry.
