So I've been dying to post this wip all day (⸝⸝⸝-﹏-⸝⸝⸝)

Ramble below, tldr I drew Peter Voss as my type. Still going to draw both versions but this ver is made for me. („• ֊ •„)

I've enjoyed all the work I've put into making a cannon humanized version of Peter but I want to make something that was for me. I have witnessed mutuals and other artists completely transform the characters in your boyfriend to fit their preferences and head cannons, why can't I do the same? For a while I have confined myself into drawing these characters as close to cannon but that ain't no fun.

This decision also came about because I fully committed to self shipping. For my birthday I'm hosting an engagement party for me and my f/o! (was originally supposed to be a wedding but I'm a little too broke for that right now) I'm planning to make a posable doll of Voss for the event and while getting materials I had my realization. If I didn't make it for me, in my vision, and if I made it to be "accurate " then I would be unsatisfied.

Also, let's be so real, I'm slowly making this character my OC. Just let me have this .·°՞(ᗒ□ᗕ)՞°·.

I'm probably not going to tag this only to avoid dealing with any racists in the fandom. You will be blocked if you are. Besides that I'll take any constructive criticism over the drawing, colors, and rendering. I'm going to be honest I have not done rendering in a while so if it's bad let me know.

Now that we're mentioning Saya, can y'all recommend me your favorite horror visual novels? I'm open to any recommendations, older or recent media, it don't matter to me as long as I have a way to consume it.

I know a classic that I have yet to play is Higurashi. I already know someone that is a fan and I have neglected it for a while...

Ohhh my god another Saya no Uta fan!! 😭😭😭 You don't know how jazzed I am to see this!! I'm always so anxious about opening up about my enjoyment of this game because people are so quick to condemn it;; I JUST LIKE THE ELDRITCH COSMIC HORROR THEMES OF IT OKAY?! (And it does a damn good job of it not to mention fuminori losing his humanity as a result of being around Saya!!) It's been such a huge inspiration to me!!

I'd love to hear more about this AU if y'all happen to have anymore to spare!!

But yeah I understand why people find the game controversial/problematic but I can't deny that the story is interesting. (Also I'd be a hypocrite if I did condemn the game with the interests I have openly shared on this blog) Plus I also love me some Eldritch cosmic horror! Love possession and psychological horror as well! (Guilty pleasure is zombie media) ♡

All I'm going to say is that I've got opinions, not very well thought out opinions but I'm passionate about them. Personally I am under the mindset that anyone should be allowed to enjoy something even if it's controversial. As long as it's not hurting nobody yada yada yada. Lukewarm take I know. I consider myself more laid back, even if I dislike something, I'm always willing to hear someone out if it's something that they really love.
