The problem of saving and later using ideas

I don't know how common this problem is among creative people when making something, but my issue is this one thing. I have a habit of accumulating information and ideas for a creative project for over a year in completely different parts of my phone.

And right now, this is causing me problems because I can write out one story act, and suddenly stumble upon some idea from a year ago that's way better, but then I have to rewrite the script. Like, this is how it looks:

I could write one idea to my friend, record another idea in the Notes app, impulsively come up with a third idea during a manic episode, write a fourth in other notes inside a messenger app, tell a fifth idea in a voice message, and so on. Every time I'm amazed by my own creativity regarding where I can stash my ideas. It reminds me of that joke about the ocean being only 1% explored. Except in my case, it's not the ocean — it's my freaking phone.

You can't use everything in one go. But my solution is to previusly mixed ideas befoee thinking on what story to tell. Like. How can this scene be mixed or being followed with another?

I have a full list of movies and books that I wanted to make over the years, but because there were too many and my life expectancy isn't that high, I mixed a lot of them to make one singular idea. So 3 or 4 became 1. I don't know where can I implement them, but there they are, in wait of something cool.

For example, Night Researcher was like 4 ideas before mixing all of them into one.

Basically I meant ideas that I forget about and then sit confused over the acts, completely forgetting what I previously wanted to write at all

My friend tells me to wait for inspiration and maybe I'll listen to it 😅 because... I don't know. I just want to go with the flow, but not with the flow of puddles from my street,lod
