This scene made me so “teary”. I felt the pain at their parting - their longing for each other; their unwilling but inevitable parting.
RORY: You are leaving for London, who knows when we’ll see each other again?!
LOGAN: I thought that was all set.
LOGAN: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Guy Fawkes Day
RORY: That’s so far away..I
LOGAN: RORY. If you come with me, I won’t get on the plane (T_T my poor heart - Rory starts crying at this point, love her build up to this!) I’ve paid for the apartment for the next year so you don’t have to worry about that. There’s still a few weeks left in the car service so use it whenever you want. I know that you won’t but just in case you need to (The first time Logan came through for Rory was when Lorelai was having a breakdown and he sent Rory back to Starshollow with his car service - even though this might seem like a trivial line it still makes me smile because of the little thoughtful details) I’ll call you when I get in, okay? (Kisses her)
Logan’s matured a lot by now and Season 7 has some really cute comfortable moments that these two have with each other.
I love his pet name for her - Ace. It fits their relationship, fits his character and is so telling of their bond with each other.
