Not enough storage space? Look for furniture that can double as storage compartments!
Want to utilize the area under your bed as storage space but have a bed that isn’t high enough? Use bed risers to give your bed a boost! There are some risers that even double as electrical outlets and USB charging stations!
Want to decorate your college dorm wall but afraid of destroying the walls with nails? Command hooks/strips, removable double-sided tape, washi tape, and wall decals are the way to go!
Don’t have enough refrigerator space because of your housemates? Use these organization tips to maximize fridge & freezer space!
DID YOU KNOW...
The numbers on the toaster aren’t levels of how toasted you want your bread?
IT’S HOW MANY MINUTES YOU WANT TO TOAST THEMMM
**Personally a little less than 2 minutes is perfect for me**
NOW WE CAN STOP SETTING OFF THE ALARMS IN OUR HOUSE/DORM/APARTMENTS!! :D
A quick heads up.
This is so true :’D
Have you ever tried apple crisps? My favoriteeee.Â
Directions:
Thinly slice your apple.
Sprinkle sugar-cinnamon mix (honestly depends on how sweet and cinnamon-y you like it! )
Toss it on a baking tray, bake it at 225 degrees!
**Keep an eye on it for about an hour ( it will first dry the apple and then get crispy)***
You know when the bathtub gets all gross... to clean it, you can mix half vinegar and half water, along with a spoonful of baking soda ( with an extra squeeze of lemon juice) and put it in a spray bottle. Spray it all around the tub and leave it there for about 20 minutes and then just wipe it off! Try it and let us know your results!
Tools: Vinegar, bowl, sponge, water
If you want to clean your microwave, microwave a bowl of water for about two minutes with some vinegar in there! After doing so, just wipe down all that grime with a sponge and you’re good to go. ** Good for when you accidentally explode something in the microwave**
If it’s too hot ( I doubt not in this winter weather right now.. but!) you can use Ice or even an ice pack placed in front of your fan ( Or the back!) to stay cool
Me: “ I use permanent press because my friends use it... but what’s permanent press even for?”
Here’s more tips on this website.. it sure helped me! https://www.thespruce.com/how-to-select-the-correct-cycle-2145866
Drink out of a can? Pop off the lid and use it to create a chain of hangers to save space!
Too many snacks and not enough space? Try using a shoe hanging shoe organizer on your closet door to store them all!
No oven no problem! Use aluminum foil and an iron to reheat your leftovers!Â
Need somewhere to store your pens and pencils on a budget? Use a toilet paper roll to keep them in one place!
Why throw away your bread tabs when you can repurpose them? Use bread tabs to label your cords and keep yourself organized!Â
Need to cook ramen but don’t have a pot (or don’t feel like washing your pot)? Well, we all know that college students have coffee makers. But did you know that you can use your coffee makers to boil ramen?
