aaaaa i need some help!! this is my first game so i’m really inexperienced.. ;;;;

i'm having some trouble with the dialogue between the main character and a side character. i set the choices and one of the last choices is to say you're thirsty and the side character gives you a bottle of water which i got all of that to work! but after you choose the exit menu button it still lets you go back and get another water bottle..
