Ship: Jason Todd/Tim Drake
Archive Warnings: Underage, Graphic Violence
Never again would he return to his safehouse in the middle of the night to muffled whimpers and cries. Never again would he have to see Jason drift off in a daze while they were watching movies on the couch and pause it so he could whisper him back to clarity.
He would never see his Jason again, the one who had foregone the pistol with rubber bullets and crowded the body of Tim’s attacker with bloody holes and lead; The Jason who had laughed so hard at one of his impressions of Bruce that he’d missed his grapple and smacked straight into a building; His best friend. He was gone, Red Hood would never exist.
But Jason wouldn’t have to suffer the way he had in his timeline.
It had never been a choice at all.
Or, Tim is sent back in time just before Jason's death—there's no way he can just stand aside and let him die, no matter how risky messing with time is, so he saves him. And again. And again. Jason takes to calling him his Guardian Angel.
Featuring: Time travel, Red Robin Tim murdering the Joker, Jason with a hero worship crush on Tim, and Tim pretending to be annoyed at saving Jason as if he doesn’t step in even when he doesn’t have to
Fics I am currently working on that are not posted on AO3 yet.
Ship: Tim Drake/Dick Grayson
Archive Warnings: Choose Not to Warn
Explanation: Angst. Brutal, gory angst. This oneshot may have a happy ending, but believe me, despite the title the rest is not happy. Tim is immortal with the ability to die and come back to life. He doesn’t think to mention this until it’s too late. He is forced to watch—unable to interfere until he heals and comes back—as Dick and Jason discover his corpse and bring it home.
Ship: Tim Drake/Dick Grayson
Archive Warnings: Choose Not to Warn
Explanation: Tim ends up trapped in an alternate universe set back in time, and where he was born 13-14 ish years earlier and was sold to the Court of Owls to become a Talon. Now armed with his Bat-training, he quickly rises the ranks. When Dick is taken in after his parents death, Tim is assigned as his mentor. Despite the risk, he begins planning to get Dick out and adopted by Bruce.
Meanwhile, Bruce has already decided that both of these children are now his, and snatches Tim too. Get adopted idiot. Oh, also Talon’s have wings, which I put to use for both fluff and angst purposes.
Fics I am working on or planning that will eventually be posted on AO3, but it may take a long time or won’t be started until I finish a project. Could take months or even years, but in the meantime I will post art, snippets, and some thoughts/ideas I have. If someone sends an ask about any of the fics in this post I will try to reply.
Ship: Jason Todd/Tim Drake
Explanation: Word spreads like a wildfire through Gotham after a video is leaked to the press; a masked child killed the Joker right inside the walls of Arkham—and only the Bats understand the message left alongside it. His death is revenge for Robin. For Jason.
Years later, a vigilante and crime lord named Kestrel debuts in Gotham, and he has no qualms with killing people who stand in his way. Things are thrown further into chaos when the Red Hood appears.
Ship: Jason Todd/Tim Drake
Explanation: Tim’s parents unknowingly bring back a cursed artifact that latches onto Tim. He may as well take advantage of the opportunity to become a vigilante. An immortal Tim au where he comes back to life after he dies, and decides to make this everyone else’s problem… not that anyone knows he doesn’t stay dead, of course. Bruce is getting grey hair, Dick is the only person this feral child occasionally listens to (and only because it’s funny to see Bruce and Jason freak out about it), and Jason is going to have a heart attack if this child doesn’t stop running into danger.
Also, Tim rigged his suit to electrocute anyone who touches his dead body. You know, so no one realizes he died in the first place. Because that’s a perfectly normal thing to do. At least criminals are too scared to touch him when he’s unconscious?
Ship: Tim Drake/Dick Grayson
Explanation: Tim is an avian, a rare species of bird-like humans who are thought to be a myth. He’s been hiding it his whole life, how hard can it be to hide from the world’s greatest detective?
A lot easier than hiding it from his son, apparently, because Dick finds out pretty quickly while trying to investigate Tim’s suspicious homelife. Good thing he’s willing to help hide it from Bruce.
As for Avians, they have wings and tails like birds, but they have a lot more too: behaviours, eating and sleeping schedules, nests, and mating seasons. Yes, mating seasons—which entails a lot more than just feeling frisky all the time. Irritability, territorial behaviour, mood swings, clinginess, and an absolutely unhinged, terrifying fearlessness. Word spreads fast to all of Gotham not to piss off the new Robin in May-June, it is not pretty… And if Dick spends that entire time wondering if he could make Tim feel better by working out some of that tension, no he doesn’t. Because that would be wrong.
Jason’s Future Warning au
Ship: Jason Todd/Tim Drake
Explanation: Jason debuts in Gotham as Red Hood, then receives a warning from a disgruntled visitor. His future self from an alternate timeline. The message? Don’t attack Robin in Titan’s Tower. He’s not just going to mindlessly listen, but it wouldn’t hurt to do a bit more recon.
Then he saves Robin’s life. Maybe the kid isn’t so bad.
Also they have sex on Jason’s grave, like I need you to know that. I have a funny freeform tag planned for it and everything.
Ship: Tim/Jason/Dick/Damian
Explanation: Tim, Jason, Dick and Damian wake up in an Alternate Universe where they are children, much closer in age, and met on the streets while escaping their respective situations; Jason, who fled to avoid the system after his mom’s overdose; Damian, who escaped the League of Assassins, but couldn’t bring himself to reach out to Batman in case his father turned him away; Dick, who ran from his foster home after the Grayson’s fell; and Tim, who went into hiding after his parents died under mysterious circumstances.
Oh, and now Tim is the oldest, then Jason, then Dick, and of course, Damian is still the youngest. This new universe must have it out for him.
They can’t go home, so why not do what they do best? Cause chaos and make Bruce regret ever meeting them. The best way to do that is for them all to pull a Jason and become baby crime lords (minus the killing part).
Also to call each other brother and then make out in front of Batman and criminals.
