New here but I had a krii7y idea/drabble/fever dream so I’m here to yap about it

okay so if I were to write this I’d probably open (because I’m not writing all that buildup) on krii7y having been hooking up/fwb for months (or years, depending on how much angst or wtv) think like…heated rivalry, but without the whole rivalry aspect

kryoz gets fed up with not being certain of their relationship, and feeling like he’s being kept a secret. (Common trope, I know, I know) every time he brings it up to Smitty, Smitty deflects by coming onto kryoz or changing the subject. Whether because of internalized homophobia or he think he’s not ready or just some secret third option.

One year at PAX, kryoz finally corners Smitty into the conversation (after hooking up in smitty’s hotel room, because why not) and it turns into a fight because Smitty lashed out—he was feeling cornered. Kryoz tries to convince Smitty to at least tell their friends, but Smitty isnt having it. Eventually kryoz leaves in frustration and he avoids Smitty for the majority of the remainder of the trip.

Day before last, all their friends are at a casino, where Smitty has had more drinks than he probably should, considering what he’s dealing with emotionally. Kryoz is still avoiding him, but Smitty corners him (How the turns table) in the bathroom and they fight again.

Smitty inadvertently confesses all his emotional turmoil, and they kiss and make up (or something like that tbh I haven’t thought about this part too much)

Matt walks in on them in the bathroom because somehow Matt always ends up in these kinds of situations. When they exit the bathroom—hand in hand, Smitty loudly proclaims that he’s been hooking up with kryoz (who is half-mortified, but just goes with it) and everyone is like yeah we knew something was going on

Anyways I may elaborate further later because I haven’t really worked out the ending in my head yet (this whole thing was based off of keep it in the dark by capital soirée btw)

fwb trope is literally my favorite trope ever i will drool and fawn over this forever and ever i dont care how overdone this is

matt always getting caught in these twos drama is also my favorite thing that we do in the frouse fandom bc like wdym mate just conveniently always shows up and worms his way in

greetings! it is i! 🥬 anon!!! and i came here to share a krii7y au i made up recently:

so it’s a space au, think of the twos heavily bodies gameplay but adjacent to how they acted towards each other. smitty is captin of the ship and john is co-captin but doesn’t have as much control. i was also thinking about adding matt as a comedic third wheel where he’s on earth but contacts the two to make sure they are doing their task and are safe and sound. he can also sense the tension between the two (both anger and romantic) and tries to subtly tell the two that they might as well kiss.

john and smitty UTTERLY hate each others guts with such a passion. im talking they will PURPOSEFULLY kill each other while being on the ship, MULTIPLE TIMES. they fail each time and dont even try to report back because they always know one has just as much dirt on the other. smitty would definitely rage bait john a lot and watch him blow before being like “careful now, let’s remember im your captin here.” john would just plainly insult smitty and smitty would take too much offense cause he cannot see himself as an “dumbass idiot” in his words.

smitty doesn’t like john because he feels as though he’s too care-free and isn’t taking this job seriously but rather as something to get more publicity and money. in reality (for the most part) he’s upset at john being able to grow up with a daily normal life with normal friends and family (in my au, smitty grew up as the ‘honors kid’ so his parents would basically restricted him from the outside world for him to study and do assignments). john hates smitty because of his stoic yet cocky behavior and higher leader which often makes john think that smitty is being too controlling and doesn’t deserve the role but rather john should have it himself. in reality, john envy’s his ‘perfect life’ of being the smart kid in class, having so many friends and money (although john’s life was normal compared to smitty’s, he didn’t have many friends or just much in general in life for him. hence a reason why he decided to be an astronaut.)

maybe in a scene where john keeps ragebaiting him saying shit like “oh look at you getting so mad, i bet you wanna kiss me oh so bad!” and smitty in a fit of rage says “YEA! MAYBE I DO WANNA!” it’s silent for a moment before john questions what he just said but getting no response as smitty just silently leaves and ignores him. and john will NOT stop bugging him about it and smitty refuses to speak up about it. or just toxic yaoi 👀👀👀

or maybe for a brief moment they get along when they realize one of them is feeling homesick and they share the same exact way so the two just vent for a while about their life and that’s when they realize they don’t actually have the ‘picture perfect’ life they wished they had instead of this.

there’s probably more i can say but im too tired and i wanna go to bed. thank you SOOO MUCHH for liking my previous prompts i really do appreciate it :^) i’ll probably come back tomorrow to add on to this au cause i might actually write this

i love this so much, as i always do with your ideas. i think this could both be hilarious and absolutely heartbreaking in the little moments with them and i think that's what makes it so good. thinking they're so different (which they are!) but coming to together and talking about the similarities between them to feel more human again is so 🤌

10/10, amazing, love it. toxic space yaoi turned maybe a little less toxic but it can't be that healthy at the end of the day has a special place in my heart

I just binged the entirety of Heated Rivalry with my mother #jackpot

She doesn’t know the term Yaoi yet… but she said “as a straight woman, this is hot” so I think I can slowly introduce her properly with all my favorites out there

+ I’m deciding to finish the hockey flavored Krii7y fic first.. 👀👀

It’s not a toxic Krii7y, but it’s going to be fluff and MAYBE spice but I haven’t decided on that yet. I’ll be sure to post it to Ao3 whenever I do end up finishing it- hopefully before the end of this month if my work schedule allows it.

I've been seeing a lot of the 📼anon posting their toxic krii7y stuff and it reminds me so much of my own fic that I should probably finish at some point teehee

Do you want to see my notes for their characterizations for this fic? These bitches so gay its insane. Its a Yandere Smii7y x Stalker Kryoz AU and it makes me go crazy when I think about it.

Smitty is yandere. He loves kryoz so much that hes super possessive when kryozs back is turned. Any time kryoz even looks at another person, smitty is already there, threatening them within an inch of their life. When someone approaches kryoz, they always mysteriously disappear the next day. Sometimes they move, sometimes they transfer, sometimes they just go missing... smittys only getting better at hiding the blood from kryoz. Kryoz doesnt need to know about this. Smitty just needs to make sure kryoz is his and only his. Forever.

Kryoz on the other hand pretends not to notice all of smittys little adventures. He acts all innocent, loving the fact that outsiders view him as something innocent that is being cornered and tainted by smitty, but kryoz is just as ruined. Hes always loved smitty, always drawing him and taking photos of him when smittys not looking. It started simple, cute, but it only escalated. Hundreds of photos, of smitty laughing, smiling, breathing, living, sleeping. Of the times kryoz has snuck in close or followed smitty around with smitty none the wiser. The hidden cameras and windows hes peered through. Some would call it stalking. Kryoz thinks of it as devotion. He wants to know everything about smitty, to become smittys everything. Sometimes he even flirts with others just to see smitty get worked up. He loves it when smitty gets that look in his eyes, full of bloodlust and hatred. Thats kryozs favorite look. The lengths smitty would go just for kryoz. It makes him swoon.

They both think theyre so good at hiding their own secret while knowing the others secret.

Smitty feels more proud of his kills when there's a possibility of kryoz watching, like a sick pleasure of the chance of being caught. He doesnt want kryoz to leave him out of fear or disgust, but the thought that kryoz might know and still acts the same way makes smitty burn.

Kryoz is slightly ashamed of how far his obsession has gotten, but the way smitty seems to almost pose and display himself after a kill has kryoz swooning hard. He doesnt want to ruin smittys perfectly innocent image of him though. What if smitty doesnt want him anymore if he knew kryoz was already ruined?

If I were to say I had two different fics being produced (both toxic Krii7y because, why isn’t there any?????), what would I be required legally to do with them

They’re both very different, with one planned out to be multi chapter and at least 30,000 words— while the other one is likely to be a one shot with somewhere around 15-20,000 words (I haven’t decided on this fic yet)

But…I also want to write my stupid fluff fic that is (slowly) getting done and that I’ve had in the works since February but only just now got around to working on (yes… there is ice skating involved… (yes…. John fucking sucks at any types of skating that doesn’t involve boards, you can’t convince me he doesn’t))

Or like… any of the other fics I’ve been “touching up” for three months now

finishing any type of wips is the HARDEST part of writing and always has been. there has been a wnj fic sitting untouched for months and i am so sad that it hasn't been finished

my silly advice, work on them all at once (four tabs broken up on a screen and switching between them) until they are done. brute force your way through baby!!

realistically, just do what you can!! if you want to work on that fluff, do that fluff baby! writing is for fun, and if you need to change focus and do something else for x amount of time until you want to go back to an old fic, no shame ever

if you're ever looking for more plot work and help, my dms are always open if you'd like (of course i also understand wanting to stay anon so no pressure ever) this doesn't mean i'm an expert, i am just someone willing to help bounce ideas off and also willing to beta read anything (again, not forced ever, just as a general offer to you or anyone who sees this)
