“We want to dream in colour, but our society doesn’t encourage our creativity. We’re so fed up with the cycle. Go to school and get taught by teachers who don’t seem like they want to teach, get a job you don’t want but need because it pays the bills, and so on. It’s kind of sad to think we’ll end up like that, but what’s the alternative?” #WhatsYourColour
When you think of Ghana’s future, what do you see? #WhatsYourColour
I have always wanted to be a musician. I told my parents but they told me to get a real job first. It made me sad but I don't blame them, they are only looking out for me. The arts scene in Ghana is underdeveloped, and very few people can make a meaningful living off of just their art. So I've taken their advice. Maybe I'll end up in a bank and do my music on the side. #WhatsYourColour
