Out of curiousity what made you want to draw?

That’s a really hard question actually. Hm… I guess I’ve always wanted to??? Like, my mom’s a really good artist and she would draw me things and let me color them. Of course, being a little kid I basically scribbled all over her good art.

But, I would always want my mom to draw me things because I had ideas, and she would tell me I had to draw them myself, and I would be all like, “Ugh, I suck at drawing.” And she would tell me to practice and improve.

In retrospect, it’s surprising I keep drawing. I usually give up things very easily. I guess it’s because all of my friends are artists.

This is Helen. Helen lives in a society where everyone is genderless*. However, there are the roles of "vassal", (a person of a passive nature, usually takes care of children, cooks, cleans, etc. is usually well-educated and prefers the indoors.) and "Lord" (a person of an active nature, usually found in powerful positions. Most prefer the outdoors.) Vassals and Lords usually pair up, thought recently Vassal/Vassal and Lord/Lord marriage has been legalized. (There is a third form called "Freedmen" who are neither Vassal or Lord.) * - While it is genderless, it does have sexes. Helen's sex is female, but hu uses Lord pronouns. Pronouns: "hu, hus, hum, humself" for Lords and "mer, mers, merm, mermself" for Vassals.
