summary:ย Myanna Targaryen had never been a quiet child, always wailing or babbling to any who would listen. Queen Myriah said she got that from her father Rhaegel. It was this which made the family worry, their nights spent wondering if the young babe would be as sickly as he had been. She was perfectly healthy. It was her father's mind she inherited. Rhaegel had been 'mad' since his thirteenth name day, Myanna had been since birth. The girl had swift changing moods. One day she could be as sweet as summer, the next, as harsh as winter. Some smallfolk claimed that was just the nature of all Targaryen's. Whispers among the servants of the Red Keep claimed that she was prone to fits of hysteria, collapsing in her gowns and wailing on the floor. It was perhaps her similarity to her father that made her uncles adore her so much. When the Tourney at Ashford Meadow occurs, Myanna is sent as the representative of her branch of the family tree, her father too sickly to compete. Prince Baelor takes her under his care during the tournament. It is at this tournament that she first meets both her future husband and lover.

"Finally," Alys mutters as her daughter falls beside her, "You must eat before your travels tomorrow,".
"I don't want May to go," Daenora pouts from opposite her eldest sister.
"I shall return before you know it," Myanna smiles gently, but Daenora still looks upset, too young to truly understand "With me gone, you can annoy Aelor all on your own," the girl giggles at that and their brother glares, his twin sister laughing as well.
"Why doesn't Aelora annoy him?"
"Because she likes him too much, they're annoying together," Myanna explains with a childlike grin on her face.
"Mother," Aelora groans in protest but Alys dismisses her.
"You shall be free from torment whilst she is at the Tourney," Myanna only laughs.
