I think acting like heated rivalry is cringe and unimportant is in and of itself cringe and i think acting like you're cool for not watching a tv show is even cringier
the popularity of the show forcing an extremely conservative sports league to talk about gay issues en masse + the celebration of gay love and gay sex in a political moment where both of those things are increasingly (once again) under attack in a very public way is cool and i won't be made to pretend otherwise

Tumblr is weird because sometimes you go to a mutual's page and like/reblog half their content like you just broke in their house and imediately ate a little piece of all their food, tried out some of their clothes, sat on their sofa, and then just left.
And sometimes the mutual notices and does the same to your house.

Bay is in a really great spot, 25 under contract with only 2 leaving (Doms and Paulson)
NCC also has 25 under contract, is under negotiations with Kerolin and Narumi, but has announced they’re not resigning Johnson. She’ll be invited into training camp should she not sign elsewhere as she’s currently under maternity leave, but at this time they aren’t pursuing an extension.
Gotham giving us nothing in terms of updates to whether or not they’re pursuing negotiations with Betos, Freeman, Zerboni, Svava, Midge, and Silva. Like literally just “here’s who’s already left. Here’s who’s retiring.” No indications of negotiations or if they definitely aren’t moving forward with players.
Chicago has decided to not exercise on Schneider, Milazzo, Rall, and Cook and will not be resigning Bianchi and Jones. Under negotiations with Griffith. They have a player resigned to a contract just through March(?). And they resigned Biegs!
Reign have waived one player, and are not announcing whether or not they’re in contract negotiations with Athens, Barnes, Ivory, Zee, Mercado, Perez, Stanton, and Quinn
Wave exercised their option on Lundkvist, are waiting on Carusa to decide her option, and are in talks with Beall. Seems like Ali, Bennett, Colaprico, and Messner are gone.

For all the talk about Sonny fighting I think preventing Kristie from fighting half the Colombian team is up there with the hottest thing she’s done. Something about the hand on the chest and the “absolutely not” attitude.
The Kronnett girlies were on one with that.
That whole sequence of events was insane. First of all, HATCHY started that shit! And then you had Kelley have to come in to grab Trinity because she was looking like she may be about to start something, and Kristie was still in the middle DEFINITELY about to start something so then Sonnett had to grab her and get her about as far away as humanly possible while Mal looks at the situation and just says ‘fuck this’ and walks away. As a treat there were also the incredible reactions of Howell, Horan, and Rose on the bench. Heritage.
Our fandom forbearers did NOT suffer through Anne Rice, strikethrough, and other bullshit for fucking ACOTAR and Harry Potter fans to fucking ruin it for all of us by selling fanfiction. I am not losing novel length yaoi epics because some of you don't know how to act in fannish spaces and yes I do blame the booktokification of fanfic but I also blame those of you that treat fandom like content to consume and not a community to engage with.
Seriously people, learn fandom etiquette. It exists, it exists for extremely good reasons, and it's been decades in the making.
You know the saying, 'OSHA regulations are written in blood'? Yeah, that applies to fandom etiquette. We didn't make this shit up to lord it over newcomers, these rules evolved as a form of fucking self-defense and by god we'll die on this hill.
So stop putting other people's fanfictions on KINDLE UNLIMITED!!!
