can we make it more widely known that the doors are automatic in the metro tunnel because i have had three people tell me off for not touching them #automaticdoorsinthetunnel

it’s a bit hard to understand that the “board this way!” signs mean that there is no carriage at the door you are standing at.

i will say. it is FOUR escalators from either entrance to the town hall platform SO you’d better incorporate 5 mins of descent into your travel time

and a bit of a workout too

i want to make it clear i’ve avoided the metro tunnel for the entirety of the dec-jan running thing they were doing (bar the times i visited the state library concourse to run into the library quicker)

so this is SUPER exciting
