Your story about an angel banished to earth is eirily similar to that of lucifer. He wished equality for humans, angels, and god, to have the ability to become gods themselves. and when he proposed, god refused, and lucifer formed a rebellion. God banished him and his followers out of heaven, never to return. Being cast out of God's heavenly kingdom is never a good thing.
