daily drawing 003
reference from SketchDaily 5.5 x 8.5″ sketchbook / 2.0 graphite / ~40 min
i'm not really happy with most of these, but i decided to post them anyway. posting stuff i don't think is really good reminds me to focus on progress rather than perfection.
the one on the top left is my favorite :)

this is the first drawing i have done after one of the longest art blocks i have ever experienced. it felt good to draw something after a while. i missed this feeling.

lesson 1: lines, ellipses and boxes lines homework (1/3)
2 pages of superimposed lines 5.5 x 8.5 sketchbook / pigma micron 08 / ~35 min
doing this exercise reminded me of a similar exercise i did back in high school. it brought back a lot of good memories. one thing i had trouble with was getting used to using my shoulders when drawing. i would ghost draw the lines a few times before making marks to check whether i was doing it right.
