Thisā¦
this still isnāt over?
Folks. Folks. I am not perfect, but Iām at least a pretty good person.
What have I done to deserve this boring story arc? How can I make it stop?
FF #206:
Itās here! Itās here! Itās fin-a-la-la-ly here!
FF #208:
I was hanging out with my pal The Clobbermancer a few weeks back, and he reminded me that I missed reading the annual where the Sphinx first appeared. I really hoped that he was mistaken, but the unfortunate truth is The Clobbermancer is never mistaken when it comes to this (he can use sorcerous powers to control clobbering, after all).
I guess eventually Iām gonna have to read some more New Champions stuff.
FF #208:
Letās be real: Iād prefer the New Champions a lot more if they actually were a Space Disco.

FF #217:
Ladies, gentlemen, and all distinguished guests:
The Negative Zone first appeared in the classic Fantastic 4 issueĀ āThis Man, This Monsterā (FF Vol 1, Issue 51).Ā
In that, and every appearance since then, someone either gets launched out of it, or into it, and that causes chaos and confusion for a full story arc.
You may have heard me point out that characters should be careful around the Door to the Negative Zone. Like, every single time it appears.
Here we are, 166 issues later, and Mr. Fantastic is finally putting a lock on this door.
Our long, national nightmare is over.
