Really tired of being referred to by my reproductive organs like they're the most important thing about me. "Uterus owner" "people with vaginas" "inseminated person" "cervix-haver." Stop. Do you have any idea how dehumanizing that is? Women are people, not just walking vaginas.
Maybe I should have seen it coming after years of "women's health" meaning only reproductive health and "women's issues" in politics being pretty much just abortion or birth control as if women have no other health concerns or interests. They never really thought we mattered beyond our reproductive and sex organs and now they've stopped even paying lip service to the idea that we are people. All while they have the nerve to claim they are champions of our concerns.
