Love getting to the point where you're no longer hungry after not eating all day.
Love that everyone is telling me how small I am.
Everyone is fueling my lust for more weight loss
Photos I have on my phone to remind myself of how gross I am
Jealous of skinny boys with fast metabolism
A boy in my class just ate a huge lunch paired with an entire two litre of Cherry Coke and his thighs are the size of my forearm
Jealous of my dad, he's thin af but eats tons
Waiting for the day I can look like this
Such a mood. Killing stalking made me want to be thin af
I wanna be so fucking skinny that I can pass for malespo because my titties disappeared
This was literally my mentality and still is
I want to have the waist of an angel.
Goals
Trans people: Finally start getting freedom and are gaining respect, slowly but surely.
Tumblr snowflakes (Tucutes): decide to take a real issue and ruin it by creating shitty neopronouns and claiming to be trans without dysphoria, screaming and crying if someone misgenders them and acting like they’re better than cis and hetero people.
Trans people: Are not taken seriously anymore, loosing respect, have a less and less chance of getting the surgery and hormones they need to transition, and are being mocked due to the horrible representation of tucutes and tumblrites in the media.
Tucutes: “We’re not hurting anyone UwU”
If you identify as a temperature, an animal or space or some crap you are NOT trans1
Reblog if you're not homophobic
Every url that reblog’s will be written in a book and shown to my homophobic dad.
ive never hit reblog so fast
I am gay. In a sense. I am trans in another sense. I am alone in a lot of ways. I am hurting too.
someone: *mentions my favorite character*
me: *vibrating at frequency that shatters glass* yeah I love them a normal amount
Today’s gender is:
possibly a man? maybe a man? a man viewed at a great distance? the vague and undetermined concept of dude
Going to actually start posting now
My dear lgbt+ kids,
You can still identify as trans if you don’t hate taking a shower.
Dysphoria in the shower is a common example people use when they talk about trans experiences - and that makes sense. “I feel dysphoric in the shower” is indeed a very relatable statement for many trans people.
When you take a shower, you’re naked. You are somewhat forced to look at your naked body, to think about it. Of course that can easily make you feel dysphoric.
If you feel stressed or sad about your body, then looking at your body can make that worse. That’s easy to understand and I think that’s another reason why this example is so often used. Dysphoria is a confusing word with different definitions. Many people have never heard it before or only have a vague idea what it could mean, so “It’s like when you take a shower and feel sad about your body” serves the purpose of simplifying it.
But a simplified definition is often not the most accurate one.
A shower is more than just looking at your naked body, and dysphoria is more than feeling stressed in the shower.
Not every trans person suffers intensely every time they take a shower.
You may feel more social dysphoria (for example, it hurts when people use pronouns that don’t reflect your identity) than body dysphoria - in this scenario, your dysphoria will likely be worse in school or around unsupportive family than it is in the shower. Maybe a shower is even a welcome time alone for you where nobody misgenders you!
Maybe the relaxation aspects of a shower clearly outweigh the “I gotta look at my body” aspects for you. Or you get to use products in the shower that make you feel more masculine/feminine and so showers actually help you feel better. Or maybe you feel dysphoric in the shower but there are other places/situations where that feeling is much stronger. Or…
No matter why, if you can’t relate to the “dysphoric in the shower” example, that’s certainly not a sign you’re fake or not trans enough. It’s just a sign that this definition of being trans is oversimplified.
With all my love,
Your Tumblr Mom
