My friends keep talking about The Great British Bakeoff, and it’s been a super long time since I’ve baked anything, so getting back into the swing of things with a twist on a classic; Iced Madagascan/Victoria sandwich cake (at Portsmouth)

I’ve moved into a lovely flat in a converted church, I’ve made small talk with the neighbours, I own my own furniture and I work full time. Guess I really am a proper adulty adult now :(

So we've officially voted (in a non-binding referendum) to leave the EU, which now leaves 2 potential options: - We leave the EU - Parliament disregards the vote and we stay in the EU, showing that our democracy fundamentally broken Not sure that I'm super fond of either of those options. We're Brits though, we'll carry on regardless and make it work.
