CRAFT KITCHEN
After a good morning run, there is nothing better than a healthy brunch at Craft Kitchen in Henderson. They serve local and organic fresh food in a beautiful and peaceful place. Plants are growing in the palets outside and there is some green walls inside, lovely designed. We ordered the Farmers Market Stack and the Pulled Turkey Benny, it looked yummy and was delicious. Can’t wait to go back to try the sweet stuff from the bakery !!
SAMBALATTE
Charming coffee shop located in Boca Park, Las Vegas. You will find on the menu, different kinds of coffees, lattes, smoothies, teas and really good food, pastries, salads, and quiches !
It is a quiet place to meet friends, work or hang out. They also have live music on the weekends and an outdoor seating area that will make you feel like you are in Europe..
MCKEE RANCH
This ranch/farm is cute and peaceful. Of course it is not the greatest ranch ever but when living in Las Vegas it is good to have a place like that and feels like you are in a different city. There is chickens, pigs, goats, horses, geese, rabbits running around, and you can feed them !! There is no entrance fee, it is donation. The ranch can host private events, birthday parties, weddings…
GOLD STRIKE HOT SPRINGS
Located just before Hoover Dam bridge (Nevada side), Gold Strike Hot Springs is a fantastic half day hike. The first part is pretty flat, and then it gets harder. You will have to climb and use ropes to go down, but it is definitely worth it !! Once you get to the hot spring it is time to relax and enjoy, I was really surprised how the water can be so warm (even hard to get in !!). I recommend going all the way down to the river, there is a wonderful view of the Hoover Dam.
PUBLIC US
Hipster and cozy, Public us is my favorite place !! Located in downtown Las Vegas they have a great choice of coffee and lattes, I like to order London Fog. The food is healthy, delicious and always looks amazing ! Salmon toast with spicy feta, egg Benedicts, fresh baked croissants, cookies, tartines... are on the menu. The decor and design are beautiful plus there is free parking which is rare in this area.
