[He pokes his head in and runs to Midas, wrapping them in a hug]
[Midas hugs them back]

[Midas blinks a couple times, and they notice the room is covered in a layer of dust]

[Midas tries to stand up, and has to hold on to the desk]

[Xe moved under one of their arms, holding them up]

There's...jam in that cupboard. I made some bread yesterday- oh. I probably froze some in the freezer- but we'll have to defrost that...
[Ev starts moving, taking out everything Midas said. When it came to the bread, xe focussed on his fingertip and it glowed a light blue. He drew a symbol in the air and a small flame appeared in his palm, defrosting the bread quicker]
Woah! That's so cool! Sorry- uhm. Adult. Is it...safe?
Should be.. havent hurt.. myself- with it before-
[He closed his fist, extinguishing the fire]

[Ev smiled at them before going to make their sandwich, pausing with xeir hand hovering over the knife. He glanced up at Midas]

[Xe paused for a moment, hesitating before nodding slightly]
Okay- do you know what you want to eat?
..the pizza bites maybe?

[Midas concentrates, but the only result that shows is a little lump of raw pizza dough falling out of the air]

[Quinn sat next to Midas, shoulders slightly hunched and head tilted down to hide part of xeir face, looking down at the floor]
