Australia, the land of secrets: White Ribbon's latest campaign

Have you seen this ad from White Ribbon about violence against women in Australia? I was up late watching the teev on Friday night and I barely took notice of it, in a 'oh nice tourism vistas, guys' kind of way until the subtle scene change and voiceover halfway through.

It's certainly a different approach in awareness-raising, and one of the things I like most about it is the subtlety in the message. Australia's hidden secrets, hey? It's not all isolated beaches and sunset strolls.

Sometimes my mac refuses to change the desktop background when waking from sleep and it gives me white hot rage because my computer should do what I tell it to do DAMMIT. Anyways, the problem is mostly fixed by deleting some files from home folder > library > preferences but I always forget so HERE IS THE LINK for next time. Yes it's yahoo answers but it goddamn works so don't judge, haters.

ps oh wait here is another workaround from the apple forums...haven't tried it yet but could be a goer.
