Conclusion
In conclusion, this first 2 weeks of computer science has taught me a lot on computer systems and their real life applications. One of the most important things I’ve learned so far is the importance of planning software to avoid failures.

Data Loss Prevention
Data loss prevention (DLP) is a set of tools and processes used to ensure that sensitive data is not lost, misused, or accessed by unauthorized users.
Managing Changes
Change management is a structured approach for ensuring that changes are smoothly implemented, and that the lasting benefits of change are achieved. The focus is on the wider impacts of change, particularly on people and how they, as individuals and teams, move from the current situation to the new one.
Alpha & Beta Testing
Alpha & Beta
Alpha and Beta softwares are also part of testing in a system’s life cycle. An Alpha software is an early version of a project which is typically unstable. On the other hand, Beta software are almost fully developed software which contains most of the features of the program. This are normally released only to a selected audience.
Feasibility in Computer Systems
During this class, I learned there is hundreds of ways to test the feasibility of a computer system. This is inside the testing part of a system’s life cycle. Feasibility controls are important because they test if the system could be done. Some of these are: economic feasibility, technical feasibility, human feasibility, operational feasibility, etc.
Life Cycle of Systems
Systems must be thoughtfully made because if something is done incorrectly in could cause a lot of problems for the company. It is divided in steps; Planning, Designing, Testing, Implementing and Maintenance.
What is a system?
In this class I learned that a system is an ordered set of rules and procedures that regulate the functioning of a group or collective. In addition, I found it interesting that we investigate the uses of systems in real life and where we see systems. e.g The Solar System, The Educational System, Computer Systems, etc.
