Feferi winced slightly when she spoke, "A-a daylight zombie b-bit me..." The blueblood was already looking pale in the face. "I do-don't want to get infected... Kanaya, you're my last h-hope..." Voice trailing off, the Pisces suddenly loses consciousness and falls against her tyrianblooded friend.

You don’t even hesitate, instead wrapping her in your arms. The hug is too tight and lasts too long you’re just so relieved. There are no words, for you at least the gesture is enough. The fact that there could still be a threat doesn’t occur to you until far too long has past. When it does you immediately act pushing her into a position of safety behind you, the plan being that if they wanted her they would have to go through him. “you’re safe now." you tried to sound reassuring, but even you could hear the uncertainty in your voice. You try to silence any doubt by looking as deadly as possible, it wouldn’t intimidate any zombies but it would reassure Feferi at least. The shadows in the room come to life, your eyes going dark. It wasn’t a side you rarely seen, you knew how you looked, you barely seemed like a troll any more. You needed to be ready though, you were going to protect this girl even if it meant tapping into a power you never wanted, one which in all honesty frightened you more than anything else.

You drop your spear in surprise when Gamzee pulled you into the sudden, tight hug. All you could really do was just blink in surprise, your face even flushing to a pale blue. Still in his arms, the next words you tried to say were cut short when Gamzee pushed you behind him in a protective way. You stared at him in disbelief, barely knowing that side of Gamzee. It was unlike him. "Gamzee, calm down! There's no threat! ...At least, I already got rid of it." You hold your hands up, then remember your cut hand. Lowering your hands, you walk over to him and place your good hand on his shoulder. "It's fine, really." Sliding up your goggles, you give the goldblood a sheepish smile.

Kanaya was out of her hive, running towards Feferi’s hive. Gosh she should’ve asked, maybe she could have brought the necessary equipment. All she had on hand were her x2 mini tridents, not much. Soon Kanaya was getting burnt by the sun, but payed it no mind. Feferi’s hive was already in sight. Kanaya arrived to the door and called out Feferi’s name.

Hearing the knock on her door, Feferi slowly tugged herself from her chair, and limped to the door, eventually managing to crack it open. The Pisces was gripping her right arm tightly, her left hand completely covered in blue blood. Why, even her iconic goggles weren't on; instead, they were lying on the floor beside Feferi's ruined chemistry table. A weak and tired smile appeared across the blueblood's face when she recognized her seadweller friend, Kanaya. "H-hey...that sure was fast..."
