Women are one of the demographics whose bodily autonomy has been challenged and limited throughout history and up to the present.

With this in mind, I think severance will get worse the longer the show goes on because bodily autonomy is something you can’t avoid talking about when discussing the themes of the show, yet the writers can’t be damned to care about the interiority any of the women on the show.
