So bear with me.

I, for whatever reason, feel the most comfortable sharing my works here than any other place. probably cuz people here are absolutely amazing IDK. (Look at the color of 'amazing'! Yes I did that muhehehe).

I personally think season two doesn't have great writing. But I think this is fun to think about; in the flashback, clem didn't dream of a genuine, innocent happier time like a moment with her parents. Or the swing time with Lee. Nuh-uh.

She dreamed of the time in the RV, the group was breaking apart. Duck literally DYING, Ben's betrayal and Lily's actions. But Lee was with her there, comforting her and embracing her sadness and confusion about it all.

That's the thing. Like, Clem didn't care how bad it was. She cares that Lee is no longer there with her through it. And I mean, getting thrown into a role this reliable and so much weight on your shoulders when every action you do is judged by the adults is bad enough—but being painfully aware of it all to the point you literally IMAGINE the comfort of your dead father figure is the peak level of angst.

Oh sweet pea. They do NOT deserve you.

I love the Bees vs Adam fight so much and think it encapsulates protection and tenderness. She's brave because her love outweighs her fear. Yang constantly checks in with Blake throughout the fight.
